RCCN was successful in receiving funding through the Department of Social and Family affairs under the Training for Carers Measure of the Dormant Accounts Fund Programme.
RCCN are currently involved in providing training to the unpaid carer in the home.
The courses are provided free of charge to all participants.
The duration of the course is for 8 Consecutive weeks.
The venues are in Limerick City, West Limerick, East Limerick, North Cork and North Tipperary.

The aim of these training sessions is to provide carers with knowledge and skills that will enhance the caring role they are providing to a family member and to alleviate loneliness and isolation that can occur when you are involved in caring in the home.
