Rural Community Care Network is funded by accessing a range of Government funded schemes and by delivering care services under the Homecare Grant Package scheme to the Health Service Executive. The Homecare Grant package can only be applied for through the local Public Health Nurse. To find out more, click here.

In the Mid West Region we provide subsidised hours at a reduced rate based on an annual grant from the HSE West for this purpose.

This funding allows homecare to be affordable.

Tax relief is available to clients or their relatives on the cost of the homecare service. A Tax rebate can be claimed at your highest rate of income tax for the year of the claim. To find out more, click here.
